• dark clothing,
• lens close to pane,
• avoid interior light angles,
• disable flash.

If open boat:

• protect gear from splash,
• anchor elbows when possible,
• shoot short controlled bursts.

Composition Beyond Postcards

Add foreground anchors:

• bow lines,
• rail details,
• nearby wake texture.

This creates depth and prevents flattened "tour brochure" framing.
