Looking through a tunnel under a bridge
Anyone can point out the Central Station. But can you spot the local secrets? Impress your travel companions with these hidden gems visible from the water.

  ## 1. The Smallest House (Het Kleinste Huis)
Located at Oude Hoogstraat 22, but visible from the canal rear. It is only 2.02 meters wide!

  ## 2. The Seven Bridges View (Reguliersgracht)
This is the money shot. At the intersection of the Keizersgracht and Reguliersgracht, if you look through the arches, you can see seven bridges in a perfectly straight line. At night, when the arches are lit, it's spectacular.

  ## 3. The Dancing Houses (Amstel)
Look at the soil conditions. The houses are built on wooden piles. Over centuries, some piles rotted, causing houses to sink and tilt. On the Amstel, near the Stopera, you'll see a row of houses leaning so precariously it looks like they are dancing together.

  ## 4. The Cat Boat (De Poezenboot)
On the Singel canal, you might hear meowing. It's the world's only floating cat sanctuary. A houseboat filled with stray cats looking for homes.
